After using your software for one day, overture banned me from both the keyword selector tool and bidtool.
I can only access it by using a proxy such as webwarper. Please tell me how to remedy this situation. And no, using proxies is not a solution. |

How do you know you was banned?
Wait for a while and Overture will remove the ban. Reduce the number of keywords to check. Reasonable querying should prevent Overture from ban you. |

I know I was banned because overture accepts my queries only from other IP addresses. And the ban was initiated right after using your software!
Is this a joke, to use a "reasonable" amount of keywords??? Then why do you sell a business license for $79 that processes more than 100? Its completely contradictory.
You knew very well overture installs bans on IPs using your software , yet you sell it anyway. I paid $49 and you expect me to wait a while for the ban to go away, which was caused by your software in the first place??? This is totally unacceptable and dishonest.
I want a refund. |

I asked because Overture often does not accept queries even if you perform queries normally, through a browser. If the ban took place, it has occured due to a large amount of queries at a time. Of course, you can query 100 or even 1000 keywords. But if you perform the same amount of queries in a short period (say several minutes) - of course, every normal service will ban your IP, because it considers your activity as spam.
Switch the synonyms mode to Synonyms for a whole phrase, turn off the option Repeat query if zero searches or reduce its threshold. This will reduce the overall amount of queries to Overture and save you from future IP bans. Of course, I cannot guarantee this will never happen again, because we are not responsible for Overture.

Not very well, indeed. However, you knew that too, but purchased the software anyway, don't you? Actually, every search engine restricts automated queries. I know that, you know that, everybody knows that. However, we live in a real world and search engines often shut their eyes on the fact, that someone uses automated tools so long as the amount of load to search engine resources is reasonable. When one crosses the line - search engine issues a ban. Google does so, Yahoo does so and Overture also seems to work the same way.
Please take a look at the following articles (not about AdWords Clever Wizard, but the theme is close to what we are talking about):

No, I was serious. In fact the best way is not using any automated tools, whether a software or online service at all. This prevents the ban 100%. However (as I wrote) we live in a real world and some times it is really needed to check a large list of keywords. Doing it manually is not the best solution from the point of time spent on it, so you decide to use some tool for that. But in this case you become a kind of "outlaw" for search engines and thus should make it smart to avoid unwanted consequences. You can also read this forum topic:

Your software is a total ripoff, it stops working after 1 hour.
Try being honest for a change and refund my money. |

Sorry, we do not provide refunds, because we sell the software on the try-before-you-buy basis. This means you can test any of our software for free and decide whether you want to purchase it or not. If you think your case needs a special look, please contact our support team here.

I have suggested you several ways to work with the program and explained that this is not a fault of AdWords Clever Wizard, but a specific feature of search engines. You don't want to listen - that's your point. But in that case I have to say that our further discussion does not have much sense, sorry. |

Brian,
I found this forum after making a google query after overture cut me off from making queries. I don't know what product is being sold here, but I can assure you that Overture will limit the amount of queries you can make, usually per day, but who really knows, it's up to the person on the other end. I have a site that depends on overture and hasn't been showing results for about 24 hours now. You need to realize that they have a right to shut you down because it is their info. If you want infinite searchterm stats you need to be on the search engine side otherwise just deal with their decisions like the rest of the webmaster world. |

You are totally right. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficent resources to start our own search engine and thus are forced to use the existing ones as long as they provide the appropriate service. |

| That's amazing, but the real business is like this. Never use payware soft for generate keywords. You may do it by yourself spending a little bit more time. But you will be shure in your work. |
